The Now

Saturday May 28th - 8:30pm

Main Stage

THE NOW is an established, professional rock band that covers classic rock through contemporary pop/rock cover material. A long time staple of the live music scene bringing a show that is powerful, energetic, and enticing, while giving the listener an experience reminiscent of the arena rock bands of history. With state of the art production unmatched in the area, The Now brings a touring level concert experience.

What makes THE NOW different than other cover bands? Identity. Where most bands play songs that "go over", The Now sticks to who they are by playing songs that fit them as a band. No more playing songs for playing sake, but rather a band that selectively chooses songs and music they truly believe in. A band that has an identity of who they are rather than trying to be everything to everyone. No soft, tempered performances here- just a powerful, and energetic display of what they love to do.

After 7 short years on the scene, The Now has gained the reputation of a fine tuned, powerful live act. With the recent addition of Joey Gleesing formerly of The Rockerfeller and First Kiss on lead vocals, The Now has expanded their play list to remain competitive and on the cutting edge of what a cover band can be. Identity, honesty, passion, and just a few surprises to keep you interested. The Now - change is good.

Chasin' Mason

Sunday May 29th - 8:30pm

Main Stage

Rooted in country and laced with rock 'n roll, Chasin' Mason makes music as rugged and raw as the rough roads and wrong turns that have taken them through seven years of trial and triumph. Their miles are marked with guitars as loud as the lives they've lived and lyrics as true as their Sunday morning upbringings.

Since their formation in 2003, the Wisconsin based group has wasted little time establishing themselves as one of the hottest up and coming bands in country music. Having sold 15,000 independently released cds to their constantly growing fan base, it's evident that the band's 200 plus shows a year are bearing fruit.

A melting pot of musical influences, Chasin' Mason mixes Merle and Mellencamp with U2 and Keith Urban to create their rockin' edge with a story to tell. The guys borrow their style and passion from their diverse pasts. Pulling from musical families, hard childhoods, wrong crowds, and right girls, Chasin' Mason plays Real Life Real Loud!!!

Madbark

Monday May 30th - 2:00pm

Wanasek Stage

Stop us if you've heard this one before: A drummer, a bass player, and a guitarist walk into a coffee shop...okay, you're right, probably not terribly original. But what if you add a killer sax player, a young piano prodigy, and a rotating cast of vocalists and instrumentalists, and this musical collective becomes the "house band" of said coffee house?

This is the story of Mad Bark, a collaboration that grew out of Thursday open mic nights at The Coffee House at Chestnut & Pine in Burlington, WI. Coming from a diverse background of musical experiences and influences, the genre-less sound and crazy alchemy that is Mad Bark works because of a shared passion for putting on a great show. To see them play is to understand what makes the creative community at The Coffee House so special.
